Following the devastating earthquake of April 2015, J4A coordinated relief distribution immediately. It was involved in providing temporary shelters, essential goods, and reconstruction and rehabilitation for the earthquake affected victims. In addition, J4A lunched an advocacy program to respond to gender needs and educate earthquake victims on how to secure their legal documents post-disaster. The organization has carried out the project on GESI Monitoring of Post-Earthquake response from 1st Sept 1015 to Jan 2017 in three districts Dolakha, Sindhupalchwok and Kathmandu.
